Expansion, Vision & Obedience

  • “Your praise is the only weapon you need.”

  • Praise + prayer position us to receive revelation and victory.

  • Prayer is not just for relief but for insight into who we need to become.

  • When Peter receives vision, he’s already in a posture of prayer.

Ask God to give you insight for this season. Who do I need to be to rise up to this call?

Peter's Vision - Acts 10:9-20

While praying on the roof, Peter became hungry and saw a vision. He saw heaven open up and heard a voice say, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat." (Acts 10:13) - referring to the animals

"I have never eaten anything impure or unclean." Peter replied. (Acts 10:14)

"Do not call anything impure that God has made clean." The voice spoke to him three times to confirm. (Acts 10:15-16)

While wondering about the vision, he heard, "Three men are looking for you. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them." (Acts 10:19)

  • Peter was fulfilling The Great Commission.

  • He was being called to do something he’s never done before.

God was expanding Peter’s assignment beyond his cultural limits (Jewish heritage → Gentiles).

Vision = Access

  • Vision isn’t random — it’s access into what God is doing.

  • Vision requires:

    • Faith: Rise without full understanding.

    • Obedience: Go, doubting nothing.

  • Vision challenges identity — will you cling to who you were or step into destiny?

When God gives you vision, trust it’s a reflection of a need in the earth only you can fulfill.

Expansion Requires a Shift

  • God uses vision to push you into forbidden territory (new, unfamiliar, uncomfortable).

  • Expansion requires:

    • Separation from old ways.

    • Vulnerability in new places.

    • Discipline beyond what you’ve done before.

  • “You can be loyal to what you know or an accomplice to glory.”

Don’t disqualify yourself. If you don’t expand, the need remains unmet.

Overcoming Doubt & Fear

  • Peter had to move before fully understanding.

  • God often demands obedience while you’re still processing.

  • Doubt = stagnation. Faith = movement.

  • “If you have a vision for it, you’re anointed for it.”

  • Don’t back down — even when not ready, go anyway.

Going without knowing is still obedience. On the other side of your “yes” is transformation.

Revelation: The Enemy’s Target

  • The enemy attacks revelation (what God shows you).

  • Peter spoke from experience with Jesus (revelation).

  • Revelation fuels transformation and ministry.

  • “The enemy is after your revelation.”

Stay in the Word — your revelation is your weapon.

The Call to Rise

  • God’s command: “Rise, kill, and eat.” → “Rise, go, and doubt nothing.”
  • Called to rise up:
    • You are the answer & solution.

    • Equipped with Spirit, power, grace, authority, creativity.

    • Don’t mimic others — do it the way God anointed you.

  • “The moment you step into it, God will reveal why it had to be you.”

Trust your authentic anointing. What’s inside you makes hell nervous. Release it.

  • Expansion is uncomfortable, but it’s necessary for destiny.

  • God’s counting on us to bring His vision into reality.

  • On the other side of pain is purpose.

  • “They’re waiting on you.”

Takeaway:

Rise to the occasion. Vision is an invitation. Go with God, doubting nothing.
