In the Shadows

In spite of the favor on our lives, we still have shadows. Doesn't matter how talented or blessed you are, the presence of the shepherd does not negate the reality of the shadow.
Psalm 23:4
"Ye, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
Shadow People - anointed ones who most only see the shepherd in them, not the shadow.
Most want to plan everything out and see our way clear before we get married, have a child, start a business, etc. But the bible does not teach us to see our way clear though.
When we ask God for details, he never talks clearly about the conditions you have to walk through.
All you know is that He said, "Come." - He called you to walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
When we get into trouble, we question our discernment. There are seasons that you go through that you'd never see coming because people change and show up in a way that you'd never expect.
Everyone wants to walk with you when you're walking in light. But when they perceive you're headed for the shadows, they disappear. For most, shadows are silent, lonely and dark.
A shadow indicates there's an obstruction between you and the light.
Behind the shadow, there is light. If there was no light, there would be no shadow.
God plays hide and go seek. Seeking Him from a dark place - Not much light when you're walking through shadows.
Enemy sent something to obstruct the light. He thought you'd stop walking because it got dark.
You walked by faith and not by sight and knew that when the shadow was over, He'd send you some light.
Praise Him from a dark place. Jesus is the light of the world.
If you walk with God long enough, you'll walk through a place of uncertainty.
Who can I trust? Who can I tell about my shadows?
Often liked for my light, but not my shadows.
Acts 1:1
"I wrote about all Jesus began to do and teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions..."
Christ did not finish His work.
He left no direction, no details. The church was left undefined.
He finished His redemption on the cross. The disciples were walking in a shadow; living in uncertainty. They had to walk while being slain.
We're also living in a time of uncertainty. Everyday it's something - but we gotta walk through it.
2 Corinthians 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
In stages, we progress from faith to faith and glory to glory.
The groping, grasping and growing all work together.
The stumbling works for our good - no baby just starts walking. They grasp onto what they can reach for as they grow and can walk on their own.
As long as the devil has you distracted, you can't grasp The Word and grow. He knows the power of The Word is in the grasping. Don't entertain what's not in alignment.
Need the Word so we can grow. When we grasp the Word of God, we can grow and deal with the shadow. Moving to the top of the mountain = the place God has for me.
Can't stay on the same level I was on in 2025.
Peter came from a background of faith - people often see you and try to act like you but can't no one be like you. You are a in a class all by yourself, there's no competition.
With your unique self. With your anointed self.
Might be going through shadows but you still have power. God's about to turn it around for you.
What works for you at one stage, won't work for you at another. Ask God for new revelation, new power.
Until you respect the anointing, you will never prosper.
If God be for you, who can be against you?
Are your values in the right place?
Be careful not to only worship when you want something.
When you're filled with the Holy Ghost, He will ALWAYS make a way for you.
What was going on within Peter was the will of God. While man looks on the outward appearance, God looks at the heart.
If you want to go to the next level, you can't buy it. Trust Him in the area of your giving.
Give God what you got, and He'll give you with what He's got. He will bless you when can admit you're scared and unsure that you're building right. There's no clear instructions.
"Trying but I don't know everything."
Nothing going on around me is more important than what's going on inside of me.
Facing certain things for which there are no scriptures for. Waiting on God to shine on me to provide direction. I need your touch more than anything, more than people, friends. I need to know that you are in me.
Without your favor, I am nothing at all.
