• No way of getting away from or around what God called you to do.

Have to seek God in every decision.

Genesis 12:10-20

Now there was a famine in the land...and it came to pass.

The Lord speaks to Abraham (telling His plan for him) - all that's to come, promised he'd be blessed.

He responded to the Word of God and moved.

• He received it because he believed what God said.

When he obeyed, he came into alignment with the promise.

Some things are divinely held up because we refuse to move.

God needs you to partner and come into agreement with Him.

"They must heed my voice."

God's ready to move - do what He said - you will see a manifestation of a miracle.

There's a blessing on the other side of obedience.

• Keep being obedient.

Many have received an assignment, start, then we stop. FINISH.

Abraham obeyed the Lord and He appears again. He continued to speak and provide him with instruction.

We're asking for more but haven't finished the first instruction.

He built an altar to the Lord and continued.

• Was about to experience the first obstacle after being instructed.

• When you hear the promise, you will be challenged.

Abraham went to Egypt because of the famine.

Trust God's plan and timing in face of the enemy.

Abraham told his wife to say she's his sister.

• Put his own plan in motion without God's direction.

• Opened the door for fear, doubt and unbelief - lost faith in what God's ability and what he spoke twice.

  
  

He will interrupt your thoughts and plans.

Don't miss God by getting ahead of Him in this season.

• Don't let your imagination get you ahead of Him either.

Seek Him for instructions. Ask God.

Hold onto the Word and the Promise He gave you.

Getting ahead of God causes delays.

• Creates mess and consequences.

Peer pressure will make you get ahead of God.

There were consequences for Abraham not trusting God's perfect timing.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

He makes everything beautiful in his special timing.

He has a special timing.

Isaiah 60:22

I am the Lord in this time, I will make it swiftly.

Habakkuk 2:3

The vision is for an appointed time by God.

It's scheduled on God's calendar.

• Even if it seems delayed, don't get ahead of God.

It will surely work and come right on time.

Occupy until He tells you to do something else.

Keep building it.

It will surely come to pass.

God has not forgotten you, His plan of restoration is still in motion.

Jeremiah 29:11

For the plans I have are to prosper you and give you a future, not to harm you.

Sarai got others wrapped in her own mess.

• Thought the Lord restrained her from having kids.

What did God say do? Abraham had a Word from the Lord.

"My wrong be upon us." - Take accountability. Repent.

God is warning us, we can't speed up the process. We're not in control.

Wait on His timing.

Romans 8:28

Saul took matters into his own hands, mainly because the people were fearful (he moved under pressure)

• Instructed to wait 7 days

• He moved outside of God's timing and offered a burnt offering instead of waiting

Your decision can/will cost you your kingdom:

• The enemy is waiting for you to miss the moment and influence your thought process

If you do this again, you can't recover this time.

Wait on Him - you don't know what's connected to that decision.

Keep building, plowing and occupying.

The promise is worth the wait.

"I will not make a decision without Him."

Say yes to His will. Return to the place He called you to and the assignment He called you to.

Sometimes things are good but they're not God.

Continue to wait.

Seek Him in all our ways.

We're coming into agreement with God to fulfill His plan.

Don't move before you hear from God.

Shut down ChatGPT and AI for guidance to validate how you feel.

Hear what the spirit of the Lord is saying.

When things are unfamiliar, we often take matters into our own hands.

God wants you to rest in Him, that's it.

Prepare for this next move of God.
