A breakthrough that felt only possible by God's power.

Context: The Hebrew children held in captivity finally received deliverance via Moses. Israel feels trapped - fear distorts their faith.

Exodus 14:11-21

"Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord. The Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace."

The silent transition of power affects us the most.

When it gets hard, that's when the silent transition of power takes place.

When did you go from faithful to fearful?

Fear makes us forget what God has already done.

God moves behind the scenes, orchestrating deliverance even when it isn't immediately visible.

Recognize when to let go and allow God's plan to unfold, rather than relying on our own plan.

Stillness is not weakness - it's confidence that God is moving behind the scenes.

Human approval can't sustain us - in contrast, divine connection empowers us.

Shift from fear to trust, the ultimate surrender.

When we feel like we no longer have power, we settle for control.

Control is a cheap imitation of power.

Vulnerability is required to stay connected to God when your power is in transition.

Trying to create their own sense of safety.

When you separate yourself from God, you're alienating yourself from the very power that can restore what is lost.

When you call on His name, power comes into your circumstance.

Stay connected to power.

Job didn't cut off the one that could get him out of his situation.

  • "Though you slay me, yet still I trust you."

God parts the sea, illustrating divine power at work even in our darkest circumstances.

Moses responds to fear with faith.

Authentic power originates from our connection with God - not from our own strength or people-pleasing.

Exodus 14:19

"Then the angel of God...moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them."

God shifts position from leading to protecting.

His presence doesn't leave, it covers.

In a silent transition of power, the worst thing we can do is try to create our own sense of safety.

Diving timing > forcing outcomes

God is never out of moves. He's never out of options.

Your power is not going to come from an opportunity, position or person. Power is an inside job.

If you have to force the connection, the connection is not helping you become a force.

Being powerful is giving yourself permission to be honest about your capabilities, desires, needs and feelings at any given moment without judgment.

Power is about authenticity - rest sometimes is the most powerful act.

  • Being powerful includes embracing vulnerability, rest and honesty.

Avoid manufacturing safety.

God's timing is working behind the scenes.

Exodus 14:21

"Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night."

The miracle didn't happen instantly - it took all night.

God's power works in motion and in process, not always in a moment.

Stop trying to fix what God is already working out.

Have more faith in God's than faithfulness than the enemy's consistency.

Obedience unlocks power.

Get back in position with God

Even when He feels hidden, He's covering you. 🤍
